I know the saying -- if there are no pictures, it didn't happen. I guess I was a little to excited about finally cookin' something on my own, I forgot. Anyway, Chris set me up on his small to cook up some ribs 1/2 rack with Dizzy Dust the other half with Raging River. Four hours later with a nice long rest until dinner, and the family ate 'em up. Hubby said "so, we gonna get an egg?". Maybe a couple of more cooks with a great teacher like Chris who is willing to let me cook and work at the same time Thanks Chris, for all your help and guidance.

You're teacher is one of da best...you'll do no wrong with his guidance..

Just stay away from him at the afterparties or he'll have you sweeping the parking lot   Love your notes in the spice orders.

Aw shucks. Anytime Gail. Cool that you could start learning by trying to cook a huge slab of spares on a small egg with no accessories, and much faster than normal. It'll be a little smoother with a large or XL.
Yall should have seen it, we cut the slab in half and Gail shoved them in kinda propped up against one another. I started the fire with the oil/paper towel trick, and then she says she's gotta leave in 4 hours. She had it running over 300 most of the way. Looks like we have another cult member ;-)
See you tomorrow MaMa.
