I would like to try a Brisket on my Med. egg but I don't think it would fit. So should I buy a full one & just cut it in half or get a flat? Had my egg since Nov. but with the winter we had here in Iowa I'm just starting to really use it. Think I had 4 cooks last week I will post some pictures soon.

you can always "lift" it - gets a few more inches in the cooking area

You can try to "drape" it over a V-Rack which will make it take up a little less square foot space. After a few hours it will shrink somewhat and you can remove the V-Rack if you like. What size is the brisket? I've done a lot of 7 or 8 pound flats on my Medium without a rack. Turn out great. Enjoy!

I don't have one yet. I'll try & find a 7-8 lbs. flat.
Thanks -
You can use empty beer can/s or something else safe that will do the same thing. If you already have the brisket, get drinkin!!

As above, draping works well. I did one that was close to 9 lbs, and only had to slice about an inch off to fit it tented into a medium. By hour 3, it was laying flat.
