Cajun Turkey & Mini-Egg Stand

We decided to have a Cajun Turkey today (no particular reason) so we coated and injected this baby (10lb-er) with all sorts of cajun spices and hot sauce, then threw her on the LBGE with lots-o-smoke. Outcome TBD later.



While that was cooking, I put together a mini-egg stand off of some instructions provided here on this forum by an unknown hero I cannot remember (sorry -- but thanks to him). Home Depot three-tier stand with the top shelf tines cut out. Took about an hour of puttering around while the turkey was smoking.

That turkey will be great.

I have basically the same table for my mini. I had a piece of green marble cut to fit the top. It sure makes the whole thing alot more stable.

Here's the finished turkey. Was so moist you could cut it with a spoon. Smokey and SPICEY!
