I just got back from helping my good friend Myron Mixon with his oversold BBQ class. He usually has about 25 folks at a class and this one topped out at 63 students. Anyway, this was straight up vacation for me and was not an EGG® event in any way.
That is where the fun started. Out of the 63 folks that were there, about 15 of them were EGG owners. I think I must have answered at least 150 questions and sold at least 3 EGGs and have about 6 new folks wanting to sign up for Big Green Egg Academy classes.
The class was a lot of work but a lot of fun. Anne and Dell were down from "Weeskonsin" as students and were an absolute delight to hang around with as usual. There was a really nice guy from Ontario that was there and is definitely getting an EGG. It was a crazy weekend with my time being split between helping Myron and then answering EGG questions during the breaks and before and after each day's class.
After the 3 days of class we topped it off with a great dinner with a great group of EGGheads®. I did ask where Little Steven was because we had more than 10 EGGheads in one place at the same time.

Bobby, glad it all went good. The Canadian attendee was really excited to be going and you'll always have a good time hanging with Del and Anne.

It was a lot of fun at the Anne & Del fest and after hearing the stories from the Mixon class that sounds like it was a hoot...and educational.

Sounds great Bobby. You are a true ambassador of BBQ and Egging. The Canadian guy posted on the Brethren Forum, and mentioned Fridays dinner was the first time he ever ate catfish. Sounds like it was a great weekend for everyone involved.

Wish I could have been there Bobby. Definitely want to take his class. His thoughts about cooking are so unique.
Myron's doin' okay for himself. 63 students. 750 bucks. Not bad for a weekend of work!
Thanks for the report.
Chris
