My Fist Spare Ribs today

I have cooked lots of Baby Backs on my XL but today I am trying my first spare ribs. I planned on the Backyard Chanmpioship Recipe (which is also what I have used on baby backs with success) but, as usual, I would love suggestions as I have bgotten wonderful ideas from you guys, so fire it up, what is your favorite recipe.

Oh, I bought spares already trimmed so just have to remove the membrane, if that makes any difference.

  • thank you! I did notice when I unpackaged the spares that I had a couple of smaller pieces in there that were mostly meat, I guess just some trimmings, should I just cook those pieces right along with the rest?

    Yup, throw those on with everything else. They are great pulled apart and added to beans ;)
