Had some filets in the fridge for dinner tonight so I went ahead and cooked up some baked potatoes and asparagus to go with it. I had two thinner filets for the wife and kids and a huge 2 incher for me. Rubbed the potatoes with evoo and John Henrys Spud Rub and cooked at 350 on a raised grid. Once they were done I took the daisy off and went with a 650 sear on the steaks. Once they were seared I picked them up on the raised grid and added the asparagus. I marinated it in Zesty Italian and dusted with fresh cracked pepper, salt, and then some parmesan. It was an over all outstanding meal. Filets are starting to be my favorites.
