my maverick meat therm. broke

all i get from this darn thing is HHH for the meat thermometer. is there any remedy, or did i actually find a way to kill this thing in 3 weekends?
thanks for any advice or help.

    Could be different reasons, one being going over the rated temperature for the probe.

    Switch the probes and see if the HHH changes from food to pit or pit to food. You will know if it is the probe or unit. Also if the tx & rx are both reading HHH

    Call Maverick and see if they will cover the unit on warranty. If not under warranty you could possibly just pick up a probe.
