The table is finally built

I got my egg on Monday and have been working diligently on the table. Well, here is the end result. Those are fire bricks underneath the egg and contained with shoe molding to prohibit any shifting or anything.

Thanks for the response. I used pressure treated pine. I will probably stain it at some point in the summer, but didn't really want to wait on it to dry before using or stain it in the snow.... I am excited to post some cook pics. look for those inteh coming days! -

Table looks almost identical to the one that I built. Take care to hold down the grease spills. It will go right into the wood and could complicate future finishing project.
