When cooking pork butts for pulled pork should I trim the fat off before rubbing? :huh:

    I would trim the fat that is excessive around the top and sides of the butt. Go ahead and leave the fat on the bottom. You can trip it down a little but don't take it all off.

    Place the butt on the egg fat side down and smoke away.

    Some do,some don't,some will ,some won't.Strictly presonal preferance.Try em several different ways.The only correct way is the one you and the ones you are feeding like best. :)
