Fidel (Rod) mentioned several weeks ago that he had read a book "One Second After" by William Forstchen and that it was really good.

I have just finished the book and OMG is he right. This is a fictional account of what might occur if the USA is attacked and hit by EPM bombs or Electromagnetic Pulse nuclear bombs.

If you want to read a book that may scare the bejesus out of you as to what might happen then this is an excellent book.

Thanks Rod for suggesting this one.

    Chris,

I am reading Pearl Harbor now...

You should read Pearl Harbor first - then Days of Infamy. Pearl Harbor is the first in that series (and pretty good as a bonus). It creates the characters in Days of Infamy and covers a period of 5-7 years leading up to the war in the Pacific. The coverage of the Japanese invasion of China is incredible.
