Got my favorite sous chef to take the main job and here are her Mini Meat Loaves With Cheddar Cheese that turned out very good.
Getting the raws together
And the Raws themselves (except the cheese)
Ready for the egg:
Cooked at 350 until 160. They were quite tasty.

Nice, hard to beat a good meatloaf. My sous chef didn't start that young, but she's making up for lost time now. I think once she moved out of the house she realized that store bought and prepackaged food wasn't as good. :laugh:LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

That's nice. Probably turned out great.
I love meatloaf, especially when the outside is a bit crunchy. So we bought different kinds of meatloaf pans in an effort to reach that crunchy goal.
Here's one made out of ceramic or something.
This one's in a regular meatloaf pan.
These are little cast iron individual serving pans.
I'll keep trying until one day ..........

They worked nice without any wrapping at all, but I think would need to cook a little hotter to get crunchy. Maybe that cast iron one if it was preheated would do the trick...

Thanks Barry.
The future is unclear, but I wonder sometimes what we've done to the children with the quest for great food.

Both you and Doug have to quit that.
It's only 9:30 am and all I can think of is lunch , and how I would rather go home and make something on the egg. -
You're welcome LOL

Sous chef and Chief photographer. Not as young as that picture makes her look, she's quite petite.

Doug, how can you go wrong with such a sous chef! Looks as if you all had a lot of fun. Sure wish I had one of your delicious mini meat loafs for lunch.
