Hey guys,
My chamber probe for the et-73 is burnt out. I am looking to get a new one and was wondering if the hi temp food probe would work as a chamber probe and if anyone has tried this? I inserted my food probe on the chamber side of the unit and it seemed to work at room temp, but just not certain how it would do in the cooker. I thought someone might have some experience with this. Thanks for any feedback.

It will work fine. As with any probe keep it away from the direct heat as much as possible.

Give the company a call. Others have reported that they were sent a free replacement probe.Large BGE
