Howdy...

I got my set of Firewires yesterday and had to try them right away.

This weekends menue was originally some stuff that was left in the freezer - an argentinian Rib Eye and a chorizo sausage and two small spanish iberico pork loin steaks. I thought combining all those awesome flavours would be a good ideaicon_mrgreen.gif

Cut it all into chunks and put on the skewer with some onion pieces in between.

I used a chimichurri sauce as marinade and marinated in a ziploc bag.

Then i grilled that thingy in the small egg with some olive wood at about 450 F.

Handling the firewires was very easy, i really didnt expect it to work as good as advertised.
The only thing you should take care off is having both ends of the wire in the grill for a couple of minutes because otherwise you could possibly contaminate the meat with bacteria or whatever while taking it off the firewire.

Served it all on a salad with chimichurri as dressing and some Feta Cheese and Olives and topped it off with some parmesan cheese.
