Pizza problems

Used a plate setter with stone on top. Brought temp to 500 for about 45 minutes. Placed home made pizza on stone. Checked it after 15 minutes. The bottom was burnt and the top wasn't cooked. Any ideas.



  • Make sure you have an air space between the plate setter and the pizza stone. use either egg feet or copper pipe fittings as a spacer or just use balls of aluminum foil
