DR BBQ to be At Eggs in The Desert Eggfest

I just Got word that Dr BBQ will be teaching at the Eggs in the Desert Eggfest on Feb 13th. We are excited to have him out here at our event. www.bbqislandinc.com or www.drbbq.com

We will also have a Meat and Greet on Friday night before the event. Come join us for some Beer and BBQ.

here is what we are doing for the event:

8:00am Cooks Sign in and setup
9:00am Let the Eggfest begin, Lighting of the Eggs and food will be available all day. Sample foods and prizes given out all day
9:30am Big Green Egg 101 with Big Green Egg Rep
10:30 Class with Dr. BBQ
1:30 IRON EGG Setup(thanks Randy for the recommendation)
2:00 Iron egg begins
2:30 Iron Egg Turn In
3:00 Begin cooling of the eggs
3:30 People's choice(favorite cook) and Iron Egg Winners announced. Egg Trophies Awarded.
4:00 hang out with the Eggheads

Mike, I tried calling you today but you were with a customer. That's great that you're having a People's Choice award and an Iron egg Chef competition, you do know that Randy's wife Kim, is a ringer. She won the Iron egg chef competition in OKC last year. Sounds like a fun time. Give me a call if you need help with anything. Randy is a great source for information, he's been to a ton of eggfests.
