I do most of the cooking, but the wife likes to bake. I gave her a good "Baking" cookbook for Christmas. Started with the pizza dough recipe.
Maybe I should put in for the draw and learn to make them round.
Veggie done with jalapenos, goat cheese and the standard veggies.
Meatball pizza, good but not that good.
Friday night cooked some chicken chili
Okay, not use to freezing weather and all of the photos having steam in them.
Used a can of Rotel and Jalapenos, nice bite.
Last night did some Beef Stew
There's that dang steam again, I might need to move farther south.
Back to the Baking Cookbook my wife got for Christmas; dessert last night.
Off the baking sheet
Apple Crisp on Homemade Puff Pastry.
That edge isn't burnt...just great carmelization!!

Looks really good - My wife wants the apple crisp recipe or can you give me the name of the cookbook
-
The book is "Baking" by James Peterson. The crisp is anything but figure friendly, but oh so good. I can type up the recipe, but go to B&N and look at the book. Incredible step by step instructions.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Wouldn't farther south put you in the ocean? Plenty of water there. Nice cooks.

A little richer and more buttery than frozen puff pastry, but no complaints. Good stuff. May be harder (or easier)too watch my waistline after getting the new book.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Well, there's Brownville, but they got frozen oranges this weekend. Then again, maybe Beli and Pato could use some company...a small taste of what Chilling and Grilling means to my northern neighbors.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX
