My wife was complaining early Christmas morning about all the different things she had to cook in her oven for Christmas dinner, and that she didn't know how she was going to get it all cooked in time, so I suggested that maybe I could do her casseroles in one of my LBGEs. After I assured her I wouldn't ruin her dishes, that I would make them using an indirect cook and no flames would hit the dishes, she let me help with the cooking. In my one Egg, I did an 18# Mad Max turkey (no pics), and in my other Egg, I did Copes Corn casserole and broccoli casserole. They both turned out perfect!
The Copes Corn casserole
The Broccoli casserole
Somehow, I thought they tasted much better than usual since I helped make them! :P

I have no doubt they were better Brian. Don't look now but someone is #12. EMAW. Plus Synder has his recruiting done.

What a gentleman you are to "help" your wife cook Christmas Dinner!
-
Brian, Now you can convinced your wife you need more gadgets or another BGE to help with all the cooks that need to be done at different times! :woohoo:

D.O.W., Considering the fact that at that time she hadn't given me any of my Christmas presents yet, I was still on my best behavior!

You've nailed it on the head, Tim.

Hey Molly, I even helped with the dishes!! but I have to be careful not to do it too ofter that she expects it!

Hi, Mike! Hey, I'm not on top of the K-State football news. What's up?
-
Nice touch I did some dishes myself!

BS was on the radio the other day. He is done recruiting. First time ever this early. He has the redshirts in place for next year. The QB (very Ell like) (6'3" receiver). With the Big 12 leading rusher coming back they are going to be hard to beat in the North.

Very nice looking dish.
