<p />Yesterday it was the cover found torn to shreds and today I find out the little guy loves winter. In fact the colder the better. I'm going with no cover and if he chooses to seize up he'll get a couple of starters down the chimney.

Why not throw a trash bag over it to keep the gasket from getting wet and freezing shut?
