did you like it? ,, kind of like [invoke ghost of the aliterating stike] purple paperhangers paste. thinking a chip would be better. the remains in the pastry bag were like clay.
on the serious side .. the roast beets were wonderful thinking a salt crusted roasted beet ?

it is a hawaiian sweet potato from the asain market,, plan was to make roasted beet cup and fill with white whipped sweet potato... wtf .. i did not know they were ghost of stike purple till i cut into it, real pretty but very waxy starchy like purple taters.. i would not boil them again ,, the remains in the pastry bag were like alginate impression material . they might make a good chip.. or add color to white taters or just be used as they are now .. for fooling visitors to the islands into thinking they are eating something special. will pick one up for you and mail it if you want to make a purple people eater pizza

A 4.68 pound 28 day dry aged bone-in rib roast!
Gettin things rollin
Roast is at 120*
Twice baked and some Asparagus and onto the large. Roast is chillin for a late sear on the small. Played some musical eggs tonight. Also did a couple bone in Chicken breasts with Tsunami on the mini. Just in case. The oooos and aaaaaahs regarding the chicken always make me laugh.

Close friends, Dan and Danice, Joined us for this fine meal.
Never got a chance to do the naners, our guests brought a nice brownie snack.
The wife and kids are soo happy to back on the same couch together.....
Only one small piece of beef left for breakfast. -

Stuffed and some buttah under the skin.
A light dusting of cornstarch.
Ready to come off the egg.
