Turkey setup trial run

I'm doing a trial run later today.
The setup I tested is this (top to bottom)
BGE v-rack
deep dish pizza pan
cooking grate/grid
plate setter (legs up)

This put the turkey about half an inch from the top opening of the egg. I'm worried that the breast will be overcooked this high in the dome.

Would I be better off like this ( to bottom)
BGE v-rack
deep dish pizza pan
broken up pizza stone pieces (think BGE feet)
plate setter (legs up)

This would get the turkey down into the egg a few more inches.

Thanks for any opinions.
