Flank Steak - Awesome

Cooked 2 Flank Steaks marinated in my version of Italian dressing.. A-W-E-S-O-M-E

Baked 8 Potatatoes first (on the egg of course). olive oil coated then covered w/Kosher salt.

Then at the end a bunch of asparagus while the steak was resting.. Simple oil w/kosher salt and pepper..

Wish I had pictures but was a bit too busy, and the guests - well they had their hands full with...uh their drinks..

Anyway big success. Tomorrow - golf tournament, wish me luck. then...hmmm maybe pizza..

You bet! Gotta love flank steak. I did one stuffed/rolled with a minced three mushroom stuffing a few weeks ago - it was killer! Guests and beverages do distract huh? :laugh:

Were the potatoes poked before baking ?

No poking. I cook indirect at 400F for about an hour. I roll in EVOO and kosher salt. Before you serve rub off the salt. Makes for a very good crust on the peels..

To me Flank Steak is one of the best bargains out there. And it is great as long as it is cut properly.

Yeah the guests were enjoying the surroundings..
