smokeypete:[p]Spiced Right BBQ is not too far away.
http://www.spicedright.com/[p]A & J is not too far away. J. R.'s has a great breakfast if you are in the Duluth or Norcross areas.
http://www.restaurantguideatlanta.com/bbq.htm[p]If you want to travel, Dusty's (Emory area) is not too bad and Harold's has a good following.

Pretty thorough listing there big guy ... with Harold's down the street from the Fed being my favorite. (better atmosphere than Jonesboro)[p]Happy New Year, my friend.

Puj, as i'm not from atlanta could you furnish me a more precise address or location for these two places? tomorrow is my only window of opportunity for bbq atlanta style. i appreciate all assistance.

smokeypete:[p]Regarding Harold's, see the link below and use Mapquest.com to assist in further mapping. This is the location to visit if you are going to Harold's. The neighborhood is not the best, but the food is.[p]By the way, when you pass by "The Big House" wave to my friends . . .

Puj:[p]You know, it is hard to make good "Q" and make money. Three on that collection of lists have filed for some kind of bankruptcy in the past three months. Recent trips to east GA and middle and south SC "Q" restaurants and joints have taught me if you smell no smoke, keep on moving . . .[p]Wishing you and your family a happy and profitable New Year too!

Sad, but true.

smokeypete,
I agree with Spiced Right BBQ, though quality has gone down the last few times I have been there. There is a new place in Sandy Springs called Pig n' Chik that is really good as well. Spiced Right Hit BBQ sauce rocks. Get some to-go. I always use it on my pulled pork.
