Buy some more butts and do one of each. They are all great rubs. Why not try one for each butt you now have take notes and the next time try some others.

I always make my own. Love this stuff on butts...

Tablespoon each of salt, sugar, brown sugar, ground cumin, chili powder, black pepper and paprika. Teaspoon of cayenne.

Quick, easy, awesome flavor and bark.

I agree with RichardFL...I always do a different rub on each butt...makes for great variety later.

Thanks everyone! So here's the plan....gonna do one butt with DP Dizzy Dust and Bone Suckin' Mustard (sweet/hot) and the other butt with Lysander's. Will I be sorry if I don't use mustard on this one?

Looking forward to this first overnight cook. Will keep you posted!
