How to smoke an 18# bone in ham

I have a large BGE and want to smoke a ham for the 1st time this Christmas. It is an uncooked 18# bone-in-ham. Any suggestions on techniques, temps, woods, etc.? We like a smoke flavor but not too intense. Also thought about basting with maple syrup or honey, any thoughts there too?
