Rhubarb crisp anyone.....hangers for main course!

simple cooks are always the best!! Here is a very simple desert,rhubarb crisp!It was fantastic!!
And here is another favorite that everyone always wants over and over again! Hanger steak cheese crepes!!

i have not eaten rhubarb in years but yours look great! shoot i am not sure what it tastes like anymore :pinch:

Dang I love rhubarb ... usually make a couple pies a year ... this year, NONE! Going to have to fix that, thanks for the motivation!

Mike, that looks good. I've never had rhubarb. When someone says they have rhubarb pie, I think of desert. When I look at rhubarb in the grocery store it looks like red celery. Very confusing. I don't see how celery could be made into a pie.
Would you be so kind as to enlighten me with your recipe?

Hi Mike; That looks great! I am very intrested in the rubarb recipe because I have some in the freezer from when I went eggin in Wisconsin.

the recipe is from my head i just trow stuff together....so i can send you my tips! all i do is cut up rhubarb into small pieces the put in the bottom of pan with lots of sugar and some cornstarch to thicken a bit.then the topper is your basic oatmeal,brown sugar,and butter(i just mix in a bowl until it looks right) then cooked at 350 ish t'ill nice and golden brown.hope this helps!
