2 inch thick New York Strips..... What is your favorite recipe for them?

Was planning to Trex them, maybe inject them with some liquid I dream up. Would like to see your favorites way of cooking them.....

    Inject New York Strips.... na

    Use your favorite rub, do a good sear and finish the cook. Spuds & corn wouldn't be bad either.

    If you don't have a favorite rub.

    On each side use:
    . a little Worcestershire sauce
    . light salt
    . pepper - good amount (fresh ground of course)
    . onion powder (light to medium sprinkle)
    . garlic powder (light sprinkle)
    . finish off with a medium amount of paprika

    This is a great seasoning for any kind of beef. The longer you can let it set in the fridge the better the end flavor - even overnight is excellent.

    Without a question I'd T-Rex them. They will be fantastic...even with just some kosher salt and pepper....the best.

    New York strips have their own wonderful taste and need not be covered up nor injected - nothing but kosher salt IMHO. Then I prefer to hot tub them for 1 hour then do a 2 minute sear at 650° per side. Those will be the best of the best!
