Bambi's Baked Bananas Balinese

Wow. I made the Baked Bananas Balinese last night for my wife and I. Cut the recipe by 1/4 so I only used 2 bananas. Used Meyer's Dark Rum and walnuts, not pecans.
I am not a fan of nuts (except peanut butter) or coconut but tried this recipe try branch out my taste buds and was not disappointed.

a stick,[p]That is one GOOOOD treat! Bambi hasn't been around for a while. Don't know why. She made that at the first eggfest in Waldorf and it was a huge hit! I think alot of people
were surprised ... and intrigued!

Tim M,[p]I've done pineapple slices when I can get decent looking fresh ones (still looking for a pineapple that's native to Kansas). Brushed with Kaluha and brownsugar, they really carmelize and stay juicy. Thanks for a good reminder ...

Tim M,[p]Oh, yeah! I couldn't forget those. I absolutely love pineapples with grill marks and all. I often do them along with wings. Add just a bit of hot sauce to go along with the sweetness! Darn it. Now, my mouth is watering now for some!

char buddy ,[p]All eggs look the same to you - heehee. That is my egg on my deck that I bought in 1998. I came home from the Y2K fest and tried them myself. Hers were actually better looking than mine, but they were still darn good and my wife and son were impressed that I could do a banana on the grill.[p]Tim
