Looks like bacon-luvin' Eggers missed out on an opportunity.

Rhonda Kave, "entrepreneur and chocolatiere" owner of The Roni-Sue Chocolate Shoppe in the Essex Street Market in NYC's Lower East Side, is getting press for her Pig Candy, which she describes as "Crispy fried bacon strips, dipped in either milk or dark chocolate," for only $38 per pound.

Press quotes:
"Now I shall die happy, and sooner."
Peter Sagal, host of NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me

"Highly addictive"

She also sells Maple Bacon lollipops at $2 each.
