Beef short ribs,.. same cook as regular beef ribs?

Should I cook these as I would any beef rib? What is the difference?

    Wardster,
    These are fatty ribs so cooking them like pork ribs works fine. At 225-250 they should take about 5 hours: indirect over a drip pan. An instant read thermometer in the meat should read 195-200 when done. We do these frequently. Chris's Cow lick rub works great. Have fun.
