All shiny and new, but not for long.
Don't you love it when a new toy comes in the mail!
[IMG]http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll164/mtlinder/NewRigchickencook005.jpg
And had excellent results! I can't wait to try 6 or more slabs of BB's. Maybe this weekend, man I love this rig and as everyone says the construction is solid and it mates up well with the large. I also think I prefer doing indirect with the baking stone on the spider over the platesetter as the air is not blocked anywhere. It has only been one cook but I think we are going to have a long relationship.

I did the same thing; thought I could get by another year without it but when my little fire bricks fell into the fire the other evening while doing leg quarters I realized I was wasting time and potentially wasting food. Planning on getting a few more parts for it in the next week or two. :woohoo:

It's a nice feeling to get things that actually work and do what you expect it to do. Enjoy the RIG.

Wow how exciting. We just got our adjustable in
this week and haven't even tried it out yet. I got the adjustable rig, spider and 13" stone. Tom (ceramicgrillstore) recommended a half grid so we have one of those too. Now I just need to learn how to use everything. So happy this forum is here. :woohoo:
Thanks,
Rod -
Hi folks...I've been away awhile, and had to re-reg. Where did you find that rig?

Looking good. I am truly amazed at the quality of kit Tom puts out. I guess there's a rainbow in the not having a large egg else I'd be spending all the money on the great toys, oh yea.... can't wait to get my mini so I can get the woo2 for it    I'm anxious to see Mainegg's new woo2 set up with baking stone for the mini.

Why would you take a chance of ruining your baking stone by putting it under anything that you were grilling.
just a thought. -
not sure how you ruin it, foil the top or use a drip pan are easy answers. twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.

Wow. That is a great pic! Looks like you'll ba having fun whit the new toys.
-
The pic shows what looks like a naked stone under the grill, i can understand wrapping it in foil or using a drip pan
-
Nice looking chicken there Mark. I love the AR/Spider and Wok.

Well, if it gets dripped on, you can just burn it off. Trust me it works.
