How to figure butt yield for a crowd

I've been tapped to do the pulled pork for 100 person family event. I remember someone on the forum had a formula to figure out how much butt you needed to feed X number of people, but I sure can't find it.

They're planning on serving pulled pork sandwiches, so I'm guessing 2 4 ounce servings of meat per person. That means 50 pounds of pulled pork, which means I need to start with 80 pounds of boneless butt (I'm guessing 40% shrinkage).

I know there are folks here with way more experience cooking for a crowd than I have. How do those numbers sound to you?

Thanks in advance,

Dave
