We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. since underpants seem to occasionally get knotted as far as recipes and authorship go, it might be best to have a policy on the recipe submission page.

copyright issues aside (which are clear, but still seem to create confusion), there are ad hoc policies that have been established on-line by foodie forums, food-related blogs, and among peers in the cooking industry. a typical approach to clarifying a policy can be found here:

it's got some holes, and is a bit over-long, but something similar might help here, or at least serve to cover the forum's own backside, as far as against any claims by someone that this site might be hosting a recipe (or three) that is "stolen".
