Someone told me that this was too much smoke. Was cooking burgers at 350-400. Is this normal?

Tony thats the grease from the burgers burning off. Mine always looks like that on that cook.

Did your egg ever have a clean burning fire? Or was that in the middle of the cook when grease was dripping on the lump?

Someone just posted for me in another spot and said that for burgers this was normal.
Thanks for that.Manitoba, Canada Large BGE -
Yep, it's as Pat says. If you were cooking fish or chicken breast there wouldn't be hardly any smoke at all. No worries.

.
When you tasted the burgers did you like them?
If so then no it wasn't too much smoke. Tell the folks it's a smoker for heck sakes. Smoker, smoke, duh!!!
If the tast was acrid then there was too much smoke. However, burgers will indeed create a lot of smoke.
