You might look at the meat in the coolers to see if they have expiration or sell-by dates. They don't at the two RD's near me, which makes me a little uncomfortable when buying. Kinda always wonder, if the package I'm picking up has been there since the Cowboys last won an NFL playoff game.....LOL. The boxes are dated if you're going big buys.

Take a cooler with you....that way you won't feel like you have to hurry home. t

I plan to be there @ 11:30. I'm meeting a friend with a business license so I can join as his employee.

I made my trip and the place is as good as advertised. I picked-up some lump, butts, brisket, ribs and a few other items. I got out of there only spending $120 so I feel pretty lucky. It could have been MUCH worse.

I spent $91 - my lowest total ever.

We just missed each other by about a half hour.

The price on brisket and butts was OK, but not as low as I have seen them. When butts get to 81¢ per pound down there I buy a case.

What sort of payment do you need to take? I read on their web site, I believe, that they don't take credit cards!?
  • EgginDawgEgginDawg Posts: 747
They take charge cards. I used AMex today. Hope you're doing well John.
