I want to build a table for my large green egg. Any advice on where to start.

Here are two different plans. The first is BGE's table plans which is what I used and then the Naked Whiz also has good plans. I would recommend Cedar or Cypress. If neither of those are readily available some people use a good pine or other woods that are rot resistant. Good luck

  • if you also follow the dimensions overall from the BGE site they make some kick arse vented covers for your egg. Like tight jeans on a super modle! lol

Also I changed my dimension on the bottom table for the bottom to sit on to the top to 17" and with one stone and feet have about 1/4" clearnace when the hinge is open. Id change that to 16.5" bottom to top surface if I do another.

Photo right out of the package, sun has taken the wrinkles away now.

It was a custom CUVER my wife had made for me.
    I think it's www.cuvers.ca

I'm going to be adding a small to the table so I'm going to have him adjust the cover to suit.

It didn't take you long to get that second Egg. I had the same problem shortly after my first. :)
