To all,
I'm finally in a position where I can begin the planning stage for my own egg cart. I've seen some excellent pics from you folks over the last year and was hoping some of you could share them again in order for me to get some insight into how I am going to build mine. I'm fortunate to have two good buddies from work with quite a bit of wood working skills behind them who are excited to help. They're just waiting to see what an egg cart looks like!!
Showing those pics again will be a great opportunity to help this fellow egger out and to once again, share your hard work with the rest of the forum! Can't wait to see 'em!!! Mac

Mac in NC ,
In case anyone is wondering, no I'm not volunteering to do a "Rogues Gallery of Carts"! :-) Although, it doesn't sound like a bad idea. Hmmmmmmmm[p]TNW

Tim M,
I would like to post a picture but am having trouble. I followed your web site's directions but ran into a snag because I use Windows 98 SE. The program WS_FTP does not support this OS. Can you suggest another program that will?
Thanks,
Jon E.

Mac in NC, I can't send you a pix, but one bit of advice I'll share is that you should think ahead (cauz it WILL HAPPEN)...lay out your table to be able to add another BGE.[p] I did so when I designed my cart/table for my initial purchase of a large knowimg somehow that a small "just had to be" in my future. Iffin your woodworking friends want nore info, please email me about how I made the platform to raise the small through the top into a carcass for a drawer to hold tools!...#$%^& I wish I had a web site to show you guys!

Jon E,
I used it on Win98 SE. Can you look around on their site and see if they might have an older version that works?[p]TNW

nikkig,
I remember seeing your setup in the past and love it. Unfortunately, my wife and I currently live in a townhouse within the city limits and anything that is built on the attached property must be approved by a Homeowner's Association. They didn't like my jon boat stashed behind my house so I know they would never go for the permanent bbq structure. (Sigh) Life in the city... Mac [p]

RRP,
I bet that would be quite a site! I currently own only a medium so I'm debating the issue you just mentioned. Should I build a table large enough to hold a large but just cut the hole to fit the medium for now? Should I build a med/small egg holding table? I'm so confused right now. That's why I'm glad you folks have pulled through with pics and thoughts to ponder.
I'll mention your post to my buddies and see qwhat they think of the platform idea. Thanks!!! Mac

The Naked Whiz,
I think it's a great idea!!! Where do you think I got my inspiration to build a cart anyway??? [p]And btw, your web site plans for your cart are now laid out across my dining room table. Now, I'm just trying to get a few ideas so I can make one that's "all my own". Mac

Jon E,[p]I just emailed you version 4.6 which even works with Win 95. It should work for you. It's coming as an exe file but it is virus free.[p]Tim

Mac in NC ,[p]Here's a pic of the cart, redwood, just finished with Watco Danish Oil:[p][img][/img]<center>[p]If I was starting over I would be sure to build in a cabinet or storage for extra grills, pizza stone, plate setter, etc.

Mine is not a cart but it works for me. My next one will not have the gas grill, or if it does it will be a high performance stainless grill. Most likely though, it will have another Egg and a refrigerator down below.[p]Hope this helps.[p]Spring Chicken

Spring Chicken,[p]Refrigerator...? Now you're talking!!! Someone sent me a pic earlier of their egg that included a burner plate for side items. Thought that was pretty ingenious too. Mac

Mac in NC ,
My gasser has a side burner. That's why its on the left end of the table. The burner sticks out over the end. Haven't used it once in four years. A sink would have been better. [p]Spring Chicken
