Ideas for a walk around-munchie kinda thing

Having about 6 people hit here on Sunday and rather than a sit-down dinner, thought I'd make stuff that everyone can just munch. Was pondering a bourbon salmon to put on crackers with or without cream cheese. Was pondering a brisket with some other stuff. Was thinking it would just be easier to ask you guys for some good munchie ideas![p]mShark

    MollyShark,
I'm from the simple school...can't beat a load of wings or some good sausage and buns. Both are easy and quick to do.

Shelby,[p]Wings. Hmm. Everyone likes Wings. I've never done the WAWA wings and I've heard raves. This might be the time. Maybe a marinated flank steak also that can be served cold and sliced very thin. That's a make-ahead kinda thing.[p]Off to a good start.[p]mShark

MollyShark,[p]Bacon wrapped scallops are always good. Also, mix in some proscuitto wrapped scallops for you-know-whats and grins.[p]Low carby grilled goodness![p]Cornfed

    MollyShark,
I've got this thing called a Chile Grill. Its metal with round holes drilled in it to fit jalapenos. Cut off the top of the jalapenos, stuff with crab meat cream cheese mixture, top with a 1/3 slice of bacon. Cook on the egg at 225 for about 1 hour. Everybody loves them. I made some last weekend with some little peppers that looked like minature yellow, red and orange bell peppers and they were sweet instead of hot like the jalapenos. They were a big hit too. MollyShark,[p]Smoked olives are good. These may or may not work for your intentions, but boy are they good.[p]Keep em Smokin,

    MollyShark,
ABT's would be a good appetizer. Jobu's sausage and peppers would be a good walk around munchie. Or how about some type of kabobs....you could even cut the sticks in half to make smaller portions.[p]~nikki

nikkig,[p]Why not make kabobs out of Jobu's Sausage and Peppers. Just precook the sausage to nearly done, cut into bite size pieces and then place on skewers. Grill 'em off till they start taking on some color.[p]I like the Bourbon Chicken cut into strips on skewers as well. My version of it is in the poultry section of new recipes. That marinade works very well for shrimp and pork loin strips too![p]Ashley
