portable burners

I'm looking to purchase some portable burners, preferably ones that can be used indoors as well as outdoors.

We're going to be cooking and selling at a couple of our local farmer's markets this summer. On Wednesdays we'll have access to a kitchen to cook and serve out of. But on the other days, we'll be in a regular market tent cooking on tabletop burners. Any recommendations on what to get? We'll probably buy between four and six to start out and at least 2 will need some serious heat.

Just to keep this on topic, we're also very close to figuring out how to do some BGE cooking at the market as well. (Transport is the issue here.)

it boils gallons of water in minutes ,, would meet your high output needs cabellas and beans both have other models

for inside cooking the camp stoves that use the small gas canisters would work they are also available at asian markets ,, same kind of thing that japanese and korean restaurants bring to your table.

I think the butane ones, like they use for making sauce at a pasta station at a large event, etc. I even see them used on the food network like the Bobby Flay Throwdown show where they are standing at a table cooking on a lawn.

I hope you figure out how to use your egg at these events. If you do, please let us know.

There's a building on the market property and we're hoping that we can store our Egg in there so we won't have to cart it back and forth. We can wheel it out in the morning when we arrive and then put it back when we leave. The building is kept locked. If we had to actually transport the Egg back and forth, well, that would not be an option for us.

That is the type of butane burner I was talking about. I bought one new at the flea market for $14 plus $6 for a six pack of the butane. I think you can get a more industrial one from a restaraunt supply.

I also use the base of a turkey fryer attached to a propane gas tank for making steamed shrimp, blackening in a C.I. skillet, etc. or any other time when the egg isn't available.
