Raging River Rub

This is a bit off topic as my wife called to say she was baking a few salmon filets in the oven before I got home from work.
I told her to make sure she dusted it with one of those colorful bottles I just purchased.
She said "you mean Dizzy Pig?"
I said "yes" :woohoo:
Raging River was perfect! Great maple flavor. Nice job Nature Boy!
My autistic 13 year old, whose vocabulary is a bit short, shouted "this is awesome" at least 5 times. It was his first ever piece of salmon.
recipe:
Salmon dusted with rub to taste
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes
That's it!

That warms the heart!
Thanks,

Hey Mike,
That is a great rub. I use it in place of salt and pepper on corn on the cob. Works well with zuchinni to. Make sure to take pics next time.

Hey Mike,
Nice post. You need to check out the Maple Glazed Salmon recipe on the DP website. Your family will really love that recipe cooked on the egg.

Great story Mike and as Boss Hogg said..try out the salmon recipe on the DP site..it's our favorite and has been for a while! :woohoo:

I always take pics for my egg cooks. Where this was an oven bake by the Mrs. I got caught offguard.
I was planning on corn this weekend soaked in Corona and now I'll dust it with Raging. Thanks for the advice.
I just hope I can find some good Cob.....way out of season up here. -
You read my mind! I've been eyeing that one for a while. We were running out of time and my plans to fire up got nixed by the boss. Therefore I had to settle for a rare oven bake :ermm: But, like I said, the results were good.
I guess the use of DP products without the Green Grill is worth something. I just gotta get the lady to use the Egg. I'll teach her this spring when the snow and cold disappear. On second thought, if she likes it, my Eggtime will likely get cut in half  -
Thanks Omba! It's amazing to see how far the progression has come in 11 years. We are way more fortunate than most that deal with autism.
We are so proud of him.

I'm sold for sure.....no more eyeballing that recipe. Gotta make it so.
