Just browsed through some post and a few are so and so you got mail. Ok, you got mail to, etc.

Do most of you just not have accounts you ever check or what? I would think most of us know when a new email arrives without a post on the forum.

/end rant.

If I'm reading between the lines as they used to say you are really saying all those "pings" p*ss you off. Right? There used to be a part of me that agreed. Then I discovered many eggers here have spam blockers and for some reason posts sent via BGE get thrown in there. Did that help?

  • Nah, the pings don't bother me as much. I just assume that person just doesn't want to give out their email or something. While the new format is here, a private message system could go a long way.
  • The spam filter is one issue, another could be that you emailed someone and are hoping for a response soon, and not in a day or two. We all have our pet peeves, but sometimes I am amazed what bothers people. One of mine is when people mean to use the contraction for you are, which is you're, but they type it as your. Oh well, the yours have not killed me yet. :woohoo:

  • No motives at all. Just like to see what's cookin'. Last thing I ever want to work on is a forum.
  • Should'nt you have said "I'm you're guilty one? :woohoo:

Incorrectly used "'s". For example "Merry Christmas from the Smith's"

  • Just a courtesy.
I ask you a question on the forum and you let me know that you are providing a detailed answer via email.
  • for some reason the emails from this site go to my spam box
  • That would be an improper use of the apostrophe.
