Pulled Pork Prep

Folks,
Prepping pulled pork for tomorrow.
It's way too cold (53 degrees!) out there today.
Brrr! Even the BGE needed a jacket ...
Anyway there's a bit of a narrative here ...
When I was a littler guy, my dad kinda hoped that I would become a doctor. That was the age, I guess. To make a long story short, med school was not in my plans. But every once in a while, I think about being a doctor, and what that might have been like.
Well ...
The past few times that I've made a pork butt I decided to inject it. I don't know if it really helps at all, but I have noticed an improvement in the results. It could be the meat, or it could be the egger, but it might be the injection. I do a slight variation from Dr. BBQ's recipe in his BIG-TIME book. I like the hot/sweet effect. I have no idea why pineapple juice works (Do you?) except that it ends in the word "apple," and someone here once told me that apple and pork go well together.
Moving right along ...
I thought I would share some shots of today's prep.
It's all self-explanatory.
While I am a serious cook, there's nothing wrong with a little fun, right?
Getting all the "stuff" together on the counter:
The mental preparation for engaging in the complicated procedure:
The moment of truth:
