My wife got me a very unique and fantastic Christmas gift, as you can probably figure out from my handle that I am a very big University of Michigan fan. Well she found me a meat branding iron with the Michigan logo on it. This is the pictures of the iron and me branding the Christmas bird

Great gift. bill has a brand he was given with his initials. He does something special to make it stand out better on the meat. Will see if he's around later and tell ya. ;)

My wife gave me a Longhorn branding iron for Christmas. I didn't even think about using it for the Christmas turkey. I was thinking more for steak but I suppose the turkey would have been a good idea. On second thought, our minister was having dinner with us and is a huge Aggie fan so perhaps the diplomatic thing was to wait. :)

  • I'll get it up there, I also have a pic of a prime rib my dad did on Boxing Day(that's the day after Christmas here in Canada and it is also a national holiday) I seared the end of it, turned out great. How are you anyway buddy, I hope Rothlisberger is ok for the playoffs
