Well FedEx has not shown up with my box 'o birds, so I only have the two wild birds that our friend shot so far... ewww they still have feathers on the area that I presume was the neck...

Oh well - even without the farm birds we have all this to keep us busy :)

    Well the bears seem to prefer brisket around here. ;)

    The stuff in the pic is for my dad's 60th b-day party tomorrow. I'll be cooking all day!

  • Hey- wild pheasants! I am going to shoot some of those tomorrow.

    Melissa- you need to cook those birds kinda slow with something moist. They get dry very easily and if you don't cook them long enough they can get tough. Fortunately, the Egg is a pretty good tool for baking/cooking pheasants. If you search the forum you might find one of my old posts about cooking them with some sauerkraut. It sounds odd, but it's a good way to cook them.
