Noticed your complaint about food saver bags failing, and freezer burn marring your product.

I double-seal both ends of the bags -- Since I started that, I haven't had a failure.

  • I haven't had a problem yet but I think that's a great idea. Thanks.

This weekend is a grudge match with Al. Nick the pricx Sabin. He is not very well liked in Miami.

  • Possibly my foodsaver wasn't all that good of a unit. I tried double sealing.

I did notice the seal was a very thin line. I use a sealer for some products I ship and that sealing element is about 1/4" wide.

I wish the FS would incorporate a wide seal element.
