Dry Brine Question

I have been reading about Dry Brining and have one question. I have a turkey with an 8% solution already. Is it ok to dry brine this with kosher salt?

Conventional wisdom suggests not brining an already brined turkey, unless you prefer the flavor of salt.
I'd advice brining for a "natural" bird- one without any process brining.
