Anyone else get these? I just got mine and I'm wondering if there's an easier way to get them on besides taking the egg apart.

need a link

Sorry. They look huge in comparison. I roll my egg in and out of a shed. Thought these would be perfect. I just don't want to take it down.

You need to talk to BobbyQ and Squeeze. They have huge wheels on their XL's for comps. It makes Fred's wheels look rather puny

LOL, I think I've seen those.

Here's another source for retrofitting nests with larger wheels and casters.

Which wheels are you recommending?
-
Actually I'm not recommending any particular ones. Instead I merely shared a site that probably offers more types of casters and wheels than a person may even imagine existed.Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Hey momcooks,I don't think that anyone answered your question yet,so here it comes.Sorry, but I think that the egg needs to be removed from the nest :( If not,you risk the egg falling over(that's a bad thing). It'll be easy to replace the wheels then. Those caster studs also help hold the nest together. The nest may collapse if you took them loose(with the egg in it).

I wonder if, with the aid of a couple of helpers, you could lift and crib-up each cross member of your egg with a stack of 2X4's? You would need to go high enough for the new wheel and stem to be inserted from the bottom.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery

LOL, I was afraid of that.

LOL, I was thinking putting cinder blocks under and rolling it to the ledge of the patio. No helpers, hubby's in Casper... I may just have to wait he'd kill me if I knocked it over.
