Does anyone know if it is safe to use an outdoor propane heater in an enclosed patio?

Thanks
Bob

i would not trust it !
  • I am not sure if they are safe in the sense that their may be a danger amount of gas being put off in an enclosed area. As far as fire safety, I think they can be used in a safe manner in an enclosed porch with a little common sense. Most of them also have heat settings that control how intense the heat output is. We plan to use two of them outdoors for a upcoming party at our house. Hope this is some help.

If it's a catalytic heater with proper ventilation it is. It its not catalytic, it will depend on how ventilated the enclosed patio is.
