well now that i got your attention we ( a small group of canadian eggers) want a fest and need your help.
our question to you is when? where? and how many would actually participate? also we will need an email list so we can occasionally send you some info or questions.all input would be greatly appreciated and remember this is just a survey and not a confirmation for a fest. but if we get enough response and ideas we are willing to do some work to get one going for 2009!
at the moment we are thinking ontario would be the most central area and kinda leaning on orangeville....if you want you can email me for other comments or suggestions.plus i would love to get as many canadian eggers emails to keep in touch.hopefully we will get many eggers from south of the border to assist in this as well!thanks in advance

Pearson International (Toronto) YYZ If it goes in the area Mike is talking about. Ontario is fairly large.

woohoo, Orangevill is only one hour from home! In fact, we can even ask BGE's Canadian distributor (see link below) to sponsor/host the event, they're in Newmarket which is about an hour east of Orangeville.

if it's a go and i'm in town i can even run a minivan airport shuttle for eggers who need it.

mike you already have my email for the T-shirt draw.

    Steve,
Vaughan, just north of Toronto. Our city council's slogan is 'the city above Toronto'...
When our mayor Lorna Jackson died few years ago, a cartoonist came up with this brilliant piece of work: Jackson was greeted with 'welcome to the city above Vaughan' :)

It sound like a good idea. Just a suggestion, to add a second one in the West. Banff would be a beautiful back drop to a big BBQ! Town Council would be all over it.

wow, i thought they'd be more passionate about it than everyone else... think of all the publicity and new business an egg fest can generate for them.

    Mike,

You just got an email from me. You're right on the US border near Caribou aren't you?

Fishing in Grand lake would make the trip worth a million dollars!

    Keep me on the list.

Why not in Grand Falls NB?! Just up the road for all of us New England travelers!

Dang! Do I have to do all of the work here?! ;)

I'll do Sundown's Manly Chili from scratch so you and stike can watch. No can opener up the sleeve here kid!

  • Hey Mike, I'm all for it if the timing is right. You've got my e-mail. Also maybe if we all told our dealers about it, word can get out to those who don't necessarily visit this forum.
