I came onto a small amount of lilac wood and I was wondering what it is used on. I've seen where people use it but I didn't note what they were cooking. Anybody got suggestions?

i am drying some now and posted a while back about lilac responses were few and the suggestion was lamb or try it on chicken to see what it does... if yours is dry let me know how? what? and how was it?
thanks

No, it is not dry yet. I just cut it two weeks ago. I will have to wait until spring to try it.

I don't smoke a lot but I used it and grapevine on lamb.
You might try it on beef roasts too. I can't remember exactly what it smelled like-but I recall that it seemed like it would be good wih red meat. -
Thanks for the input. I'll try it next spring after it dries out some.
