Ash Pan at Menards for under $3

I have been eyeing up the BGE ash pan available from dealers for a penny or nickel under $20. I stopped in the fireplace/woodburner department at my local Menards and found something similar for $3.00. Took it home and it fits pretty good right off the shelf. A little massaging and it will work great saving the cost of a case of beer.

I use a feed scoop. It's already curved and I rounded it out just a tad to fit next to the opening.
Not sure if this pic will show, but it's real close to this one.
